Before you apply, consider this:
Do you really think you will be an active part of our community?
Do you really think you will be playing this game actively for a while?
If the answer to either one of those is 'no', you might as well save us all some time an not apply, because even if you're accepted you will probably be kicked later anyway due to inactivity.
Post your application in a new thread, with your name included in the topic title.
In your application thread we will ask you questions and you can ask us questions.
After the application process is over we will decide if we want you to join, and you will decide if you still want to join us. If both sides answers 'yes' then you'll become a member.
Please include answers to the following in your application:
- How old are you?
- Have you played any similar games to Eve before?
- Why do you want to join 3IW?
- What do you expect from 3IW?
- What can you contribute with if you become a member?
- Have you been a member of any other EVE alliances?
- If yes, who and why did you leave?
- How much wood would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
- Finish this statement: We came, We saw, We __________?
Those questions are just to start things off.
More will come later.
It would also be good if you wrote a little introduction to yourself, your MMORTS background, and how you got into EVE.
Keep in mind that this is not a medical test. We don't want the answers as short as possible.
The major point with this is to learn a little about the player behind the account, so all of us can decide if we are a good fit.
It's not mandatory to answer all questions. Some times application threads are bombarded with questions. If that happens, feel free to skip some and only answer the ones you think are important. Also, keep in mind, sometimes, the best answer is the first one which comes to mind. Don't analyze the question, we are all here to have fun, after all.
Remember that you can also ask us questions about 3IW and its members. This is a two way thing.
Expect the application process to last a few days. It will take no less than 36hrs. We want all members to be able to ask questions and give their opinion.
